More fine carpet cleaning results
Enjoyed getting up this morning to clean another carpet. The carpet cleaning job this morning made for another photo opportunity. The last two weeks I've cleaned mainly white to off-white carpets. Sure separates the effective cleaners from the non-effective. It's helps to love what you do, and the results show that I do. Enjoy spring!

Cleaning 15 year-old carpet
This afternoon I worked for one of my returning customers. Their white nylon carpet is now fifteen years old and still looks so nice after cleaning. They were thinking of replacement, but are so happy to have the carpet looking clean again. Two weeks ago I cleaned all their tile and grout. It was the job where I mentioned I forgot to take before/after photos. The tile and grout looks new. A great deal of satisfaction comes from a job well done.

Handmade Braided Rugs
Today I cleaned two unusual items. My first customer had two braided rugs that she made many years ago. It was common to make braided rugs out of scrap clothing and rags in times past. I've been privileged to clean several handmade braided rugs over the years. It's remarkable to see the designs each person incorporated into their creations. These are heirloom rugs and I'm happy to have been able to refresh them for their owners.
My last customer today has a plush, long-napped carpet. The nap on this carpet is 1.5 long. Makes for a challenge, especially to get it clean in front of the two recliners. The photo shows the cleaning in process. This time we used the RX-20 on the traffic area in front of the recliners. This is the fifth time we've cleaned this carpet and it turned out wonderful again. It's so nice to have loyal repeat customers. Thanks!

Tar Removal from Carpet
Was able to get the culprit out of the doghouse. The tar, tracked from the front door through the living room toward the kitchen, is now just a memory. Makes me feel good to remove that black stuff from the carpet. Tried taking a photo but the file wouldn't save for some reason. Would have made a great photo though because the carpet was an off-white nylon with lots of black tar spots. Another fun day cleaning carpet.
Carpet Cleaning maintenance
Yesterday's carpet cleaning customers were some of our favorites. These customers adhere to a good maintenance cleaning schedule to extend the life of their flooring investment. While photos don't show an impressive before/after difference, there is still a great deal of satisfaction derived from keeping these carpets looking their best for many years. I appreciate these customers loyalty and trust in our ability and efforts to keep their rugs looking great for so many years. They are like old friends... the best! Maybe I'll start taking photos of the results of these jobs just to show how good well maintained carpets can look over the years.
One of the jobs scheduled today has tar tracked across the carpet from a roofing job.... Oops. I'll try to take some photos of our efforts to fix that problem and get somebody out of the doghouse!

Tile Cleaning
This afternoon I finished another tile cleaning job. What a dramatic color change in the grout. Wish I would have had my camera with me. It was one that would have made great before/after photos on blog and website. Cleaned an entryway, hallway, utility area, kitchen, dining room and 2 bathrooms. Will try to keep a camera in the work truck from now on.

Carpet Cleaning in Prescott AZ
Here's a carpet cleaning pic I took on March 22, 2011 with my cell phone. Wish I had my regular camera for better detail, but the photo still shows the remarkable cleaning results. This off-white berber carpet is in a rental unit in Precott. Just another example of the amazing results we achieve!

New Equipment
Wow, we purchased new cleaning equipment in December of 2010. This is just another example of how serious we are about providing our customers with the best cleaning possible.
We've been watching cleaning equipment technology improve over the years. In February of 2010 we attended a cleaning equipment expo in Phoenix. There, we were able experiment and compare the latest technology from several cleaning companies. The one that impressed us the most was built by Sapphire Scientific. We began doing our homework and studying the innovative systems they build. Finally in November, we visited the manufacturing facilities to test between two systems they build. In December we made the decision to purchase the Sapphire Scientific 454 Big Block cleaning console. It was installed in the van on December 23, 2010.
There are two notable improvements our customers will really appreciate:
The first is how much drying time has been reduced. Keep in mind these dry time comparisions are during the cold month of January while we've had a lot of snowy, cold weather. With our previous equipment, the drying time averaged 8 hours in the winter months. The new equipment has reduced the drying time to under 2 hours! That's impressive! We can't wait to see how fast floors will dry during the summer months (probably about 1 hour or less).
The second improvement is how much cleaner we are able to get carpet, tile and grout. With the new technology we have greater control of pressures, temperature and vacuum on the equipment. We can customize the equipment performance for every cleaning task we encounter. That flexibility, combined with the new advancements in cleaning solutions, just help us achieve stellar results.
Another really neat feature of the new equipment concerns it's reduced impact on the environment. Instead of using diesel fuel to heat the cleaning solution, this new SS454 uses a heat exchange/capture feature that is brand new to the industry. This new technology is so efficient that the new SS454 allows us to run two cleaning stations at the same time and still maintain all the pressure, heat and vacuum to achieve superior cleaning.
The new equipment also has dual wand capability which allows us to offer reduced cleaning times for those who have larger homes. It's exciting, because now we finish large cleaning jobs in half the time and experience faster drying too. It's just another one of those win-win situations we all love.
